The Ramirez family depends on his skill and creativity, which in turn brings dignity and satisfaction to his life. Salvador's vision is to introduce his crafts into the United States and to be recognized.

"First I draw the concept or the idea I want to create in paper. Then we create a mold based on that idea...these bronze sinks are formed by using traditional sand casting methods which is a very antique method. Each bronze sink is then finished, patinated and waxed by hand. Our bronze sinks have a living finish that evolves over time."

Salvador Ramirez says: Bronze is very versatile and noble. You can use it in all kind of things for is lightness and resilience.

All his products are lead free and he uses recycled material wherever possible without compromising the quality of the products.

Caring for your Bronze Sink

Our bronze sinks require minimal care, since bronze is one of the toughest metals and once is forged and processed to create our sinks, the bronze will last for years to come without any corrosion or noticeable wearing.

A bronze sink passes through a chemical process to produce the lasting and rigid finish. It is as if the sink had been submerged in the ocean for years and is now able to take all the attacks the salt water and different minerals. When you receive your bronze sink, you will first notice the weight of it and the thickness of the walls, this should by itself give you the idea that your sink will last forever, as it does.

Bronze has natural variations in color and patterns, making each sink a one of a kind work of art. The natural changes that occur with age (over time and normal use) are considered as an evolving finish, or living finish'. They enhance the finish and lend the sink its unique character and beauty.

To clean your sink:

  • Simply rinse your sink with water and a mild non-bleach soap. Then wipe it dry with a soft cloth.
  • To get rid of spotting caused by lime stone, you can dilute white vinegar with an equal amount of water and let this solution soak for several minutes before you rinse thoroughly.
  • If you want to protect your bronze sink against water stains and to keep the surface nice and shiny, you can wax it from time to time. A good indication when to wax your sink is when water no longer forms beads on the surface of the bowl. Then simply use a cloth to apply a thin coat of a carnauba based paste wax (such as SC Johnson wax) over the inside of the sink bowl. It is ideal to use as little wax as necessary. The best results are achieved by warming the iron with a hairdryer or heat gun before applying the wax, which will allow the wax to better penetrate the surface for longer lasting protection. Let it dry and then buff the surface lightly with a cotton cloth to a nice gleam.
  • Avoid the use of abrasive sponges or an abrasive cleaner on your sink and dont allow toothpaste or any other kind of corrosive substances to sit on the surface of the sink.

Decorate your life

Allow yourself a few extra seconds than normal to just feel the flow of the water off your hands.

Fill the sink with bubbly, fragrant water and let your hands soak for two minutes. Enjoy the heat on your hands and your wrists and feel the relaxation drift up into your arms and shoulders.

Decorate your home

Bronze sink and faucet are a perfect match with other metals such copper and tin but also a great contrast with delicate cloth, treated or drift wood and glass or ceramic.

Place a sun kissed piece of drift wood beside the bronze, a couple of fragrant tea lights on ceramic holders and a small pot of brightly colored flowers.

Is there a bronze gauge?

There is no gauge for bronze sinks, these are not made of a bronze metal sheet but of one solid piece of bronze by melting the bronze into a mold. The gauge is only used for sheet metals. The average thickness of each sink is between 0.5 inches and 1 inch, depending on the sink.

Does the sink have an overflow?

There is no overflow.
